As of September 1, 2011 there are four women currently playing in the WNBA that played in Slam Jam tournaments when they were younger. All four were able to attend college due to their basketball talents. The Slam Jam Women's Basketball Classic is very proud to have been associated with these women.
- Kia Vaughn - New York Liberty
- Shannon Bobbitt - Indiana Fever
- Tina Charles - Connecticut Sun

A shout out for two former Slam Jam players. Both now with the WNBA women's basketball league. This picture was taken before they went on to college. We knew then what they were getting ready to do. Tina Charles with the Connecticut Sun/won Olympic gold medal in 2012. Epiphanny Prince of the Chicago Sky, still holds record for most points scored in a PSAL New York City game: 114. Thanks ladies for the games you played at Slam Jam. You were stars then and now.

On August 20th, we had the pleasure of having three women who had played in the Slam Jam Women's Basketball Classic when they were younger actively involved in the game as adults. One of the teams was coached by two Slam Jam alumnae: Coach Holly Woods and her Assistant Coach Frances Miles. And one of the Referees for the game was Candice Mia Lindsay. Her sister, Sky Lindsay, also a Slam Jam alumna, attended the game to cheer on the girls.
